During my travels abroad, I capture photographs with a sense of presence, connection, and curiosity, aiming to tell the stories of people, the depth of cultures, and the essence of places, such as Cambodia, Thailand, Portugal, Turkey.

'life en la favela'
“life en la favela” is a photography series created using a mobile studio in a remote village along the Black Sea coast. Most of the people featured are non-professional actors-locals who stepped in front of the camera and brought a raw, intimate energy to each frame.
By combining the storytelling nature of documentary photography with the controlled aesthetics of studio portraiture, the series offer a visual language that blends realism with artistry.

In the context of isolation and social distancing for the first time in our modern history we faced restrictions of freedom of this kind. We were in a state similar to “prison”. Under house arrest. Some enjoyed it, some were bored, some pondered… For everybody this “prison” turned out to be something different.
We asked a question: What does a person want to say when the old world is stopped and freedom extends to the doorstep of their house? What are their inner experiences? We know there are growing concerns inside. Fears. Thoughts. Anxieties. Feelings. Longings. We also know that every thought, fear, feeling, anxiety, longing has a face. Each face has a message.
50 people. 50 different minds. 50 different faces. 50 elements from different systems faced the lens with one placard in hand. There they were deliberately “stripped” to their original state: no name, no brand, no title. No file. ID, code, location. One face. One message.
